We have started! After a lovely day in Atlanta visiting the aquarium and taking in the sights, we spent our first night at Amicolola falls. We summited Springer while it snowed and cleared the snow off the plaque for our photo. The past few days have been great, easy sunny days meandering through these “mountains” (they’re just really big hills). After a quick stop at a hostel for a hot shower and laundry, we’ll be heading back to the trail and unfortunately into the rain. However, this adventure has been GREAT so far! ~ Ponder and Amble
